Joomla site example

Introductory pricing will be in the range of $400 for a WordPress CMS and $600 for a Joomla CMS.  Both of these are very powerful sites and are extremely flexible.  They both have a plethora of options to customize them, and both have extensive styling options.

WordPress is more utilized, especially as a blog platform.  It casn be pressed into service as a full blown CMS and can function as a very complete website.

Joomla is designed as a CMS, and functions more comfortably in that role.  it is more flexible that WordPress, but also slightly more complicated.  It can act like a blog, but isn’t as well suited to blog duties as WordPress.

Doesn't EVERY property deserve a sign about it rather than us?

We have a little different opinion about that.  We feel that the sign should be about the house, and the company and the agent should be limited to the required legal disclosure.  As an agent, it isn’t that I don’t want to make my name known, I do.  I also want my company to be known as well.  But the purpose should be selling the house… and my company and I WILL be known when we make houses sell.

Signs don’t get the attention of many other forms of marketing, but they are important.  Rather than a stock rider that says “Must See Inside”, why not put some pictures so that passers by can get a hint of what is actually there?  Why not tell the story of the home on the sign?  Why not make a sign that stops cars driving by so that they can get a look?

That is the goal, and we think exceptional signs are the answer… and we think we have the solution.

Diamond Dwellings is the brokerage with which Lane has partnered.  They maintain a couple of websites that he frequently contributes to, such as DiamondDwellings and GwinnettDwellings.  Lane is also the primary contributor to LilburnDwellings, which is almost exclusively about issues and real estate in the Lilburn area.

LaneBailey.info is primarily tasked to help keep up with the social networking sites on which Lane participates.  It is also the testbed for new WordPress plug-ins and other technology before being implemented on the ‘real’ sites and WordPress tutorials.  GarageHomesUSA.com is about garages, cars, hobbies and how they relate to real estate.  There is also a lot of great info on tools, toys and fun things to do outside of the garage.

Property Website

As part of his marketing efforts, Lane creates a website specific to each property he lists.  These sites are much more than the normal ‘flyer on a webpage‘ which have little more information than a flyer one would find in a flyer box at the curb.  Instead, these sites have extensive information regarding the house, dozens of photos, links to schools and other area amenities, as well as videos, virtual tours and interactive floor plans.
